About South East Bus Fleet
Founded by Christopher T in 2019, South East Bus Fleet started as a collection of fleetlists for our founder's local operators, 'Arriva the Shires' Wycombe Depot', as well as 'Carousel Buses'. We then created the Discord bot and added 'First Berkshire and the Thames Valley' to the bot.
- During the Summer of 2020, we launched the website you see before you.
- In August 2020, we published the mobile to the Google play store. At the same time we created the API for the app to communicate with for fleet data.

- In October of 2020, We added 'Go-Ahead South Coast', 'Yellow Buses', 'Uno Buses' and 'Stagecoach Oxford' to the website. In the November, these were added to the mobile app along with 'Reading Buses'.

- March 2021. Sparked by the transfer of some 'Carousel Buses' vehicles, 'Go-Ahead East Anglia' was added.
- In April 2021, we moved from having the fleetlists stored as CSV files (originally from before the first launch) to having everything stored in a MongoDB database. We also rebuilt the backend of the website to improve security and ease the strain on the client.
- In May 2021, we started adding Euro Ratings to the fleetlists we knew ratings for. This change affected 'Arriva Midlands & The Shires', 'Arriva Southern Counties', 'Go-Ahead Oxford (owns Carousel Buses)', and 'Reading Buses'.
- June 2021, the 'Centrebus Group' fleetlist was added, following the purchase or Arriva's Cannock depot by Centrebus owned, D&G Bus, which would operate under the Chaserider name. This list consistted of Centrebus, D&G Buses, Chaserider and High Peak.
- Fall 2021, we added the edit logs for every fleetlist. This also meant that any hidden lists, such as those in progress, could be seen.
- October 2021, We added livery cards for most liveries on the system.
- November 2021, we were forced to halt development of the mobile app.
- December 2021, we partnered with Oxfordshire based enthusiast group, 'Oxon Buses'.
- January 2022, We launched or partner site 'Accessible Buses UK'. The purpose of this site is to compare how accessible various vehicles are even under the Equality Act 2010.
